Coyote Travel Open Enrollment
|
|
Open Enrollment is offered to all current high school players (graduation years 2015-2012). This option is best suited for players who are undecided about playing lacrosse in college and simply want to benefit from playing in summer/fall tournaments to help improve their level of competitiveness and skill. When players join DLC at the open enrollment status they receive all the benefits that the club has to offer: training advice, expert coaching, recruiting advice, and the opportunity to compete at national events. Open enrollment players will be able to participate in all tournaments attended by DLC. Efforts will be made to roster players on teams according to skill level and age. However, DLC cannot guarantee age specific teams at all events. Participation in at least half of the practices is mandatory to maintain open enrollment status.

Coyote Select Enrollment
|
|
Select Status Enrollment is offered to current high school juniors, sophomores, and freshman only (graduation years 2012-2014). Select Status is for players who intend to play lacrosse in college and are highly committed to gaining exposure by participating in recruiting tournaments. To obtain a select status, players must commit to several, key tournaments during the summer & fall and must attend all scheduled practices. Select Status will be determined after try-out and at any time during the season a player may be invited to participate on a select team.

COSTS Flat Annual Membership Fee: $500.00
Membership is mandatory to play with the DLC in 2010. Membership Application as well as a $200.00 deposit is due 11/30/11. The total 2012 Annual Membership fee is due by January 30, 2012. We reserve the right to accept or decline any late registrations. Extra fees may apply. This annual fee is non-refundable and does not cover add-on tournament cost, travel or lodging. Add-On Tournament fees range $75.00 to $250.00 based on tournament cost, location and length of tournament, players participation, coaching and administrative cost. Summer Add-On Tournament fees will be posted after our try-out to ensure accuracy. Summer fees are due April 1, 2012 and Fall Tournament fees are due July 1, 2012. Payment plans will be available. Travel, food and lodging are the responsibility of each member. DLC will offer a suggested literary of each tournament so that families are able to travel together. We do encourage the team to stay together at tournaments to benefit from “off the field” experiences with her teammates. The DLC does offer a "Solo Travel" option as well. A Solo traveler is DLC member who travels by herself to an event. Each event provides different specific arrangements, being a Solo traveler means that DLC organizes travel arrangements and gets the itinerary to parents for transportation to and from the event, lodging and meal cost. This is a option for parents who want to decrease travel expenses and ensure safety with this chaperone service. Solo fees are in addition to tournament fees. Solo fees are not refundable. In the event of a family tragedy or immediate injury ˝ of solo fees will be cedited towards a future event.
RECRUITING SUPPORT The recruiting process is a tricky one with many twists and turns. At DLC, we are here for you every step of the way as part of your membership. We do not take responsibility for doing the work for our players, nor can we guarantee a scholarship but we guide them along as they pursue their dream of playing in college. In as much as the player and her family want to access our staff for guidance and support, we will be available.
EXPECTATIONS What you should expect from DLC is commitment, competence, professionalism as well as a laughter and fun. We will be honest – no matter what.
What we expect from you is that you let us do our job: • Make each player better • Manage expectations • Determine who should be on what team • Support each girl in her OWN process of one day playing in college if that is her goal.
Our core values are respect, responsibility, commitment and having fun. All members can expect us to represent and live up to these values to the best of our abilities and we will expect the same from them.
In addition, each player must be a member of US Lacrosse. You can join by going to www.uslacrosse.org
